Cubs complete sweep of Cleveland Indians with 6-2 win

Rookie right-hander Randy Wells finally earned his first big league victory Sunday as the Cubs finished off a three-game sweep of the Cleveland Indians with a 6-2 win at Wrigley Field .

The last time I checked, the Indians are a major League team with major league players on the roster. Do not down play a victory, because you do not think the opponent is that good.

In no way shape or form am i downplaying the victory, the cubs don't make the schedule, they just play who they're supposed to. And to be a good team you have to beat the bad teams.

Resting Soriano and Fontenot on occasion to keep Fox sharp at the plate seems reasonable as long as his defense does not become a liability. The same goes for Hoff, as he has some amazing "pauir" in his bat. He could give Lee an occasional rest at 1B also for the same reason.

I tried to find out something about Mark Mulder, but I am unable to find much. This is the best I can tell. Mulder is a free agent and no one has signed him. I think he still has shoulder problems.
