How can a tenth of an inch of rain force a postponement?

It's hard to say how well these guys who have been out so long will be able to play when they do return. It's almost as if we're in some sort of spring training extension. The Twins seem to have given up on April. Maybe May will be better, or the Twins will get lucky against Cleveland. The starting pitching hasn't been as bad as the numbers indicate. If the Twins could get some solid relief from the bullpen, there's no reason the Twins can't bring Cleveland down and pick up a game or two.

Morneau is the biggest p U $$ Y in baseball that guy is a total waste of money. He's always sick, hurting or has a lil booboo that keeps him out. Trade him for a towel and bucket of water. what a total loser and crybaby!

I remember when i was kid back old Met days and it rained, the game was halted, when it cleared the game continued. Now it rains a little before a game and it's canceled?! Who's going to pay my $15 parking fee???

That was the last time that my family and I make the trek for a twins game, too expensive, and too much time devoted for nothing. I wish them well, but not with my dollar or time

That's good for a real fan. Now there will be tickets for more of us. By the way, you can donate your tickets to a worthy cause and write it off on your income tax. That way you will only be out a couple of bucks for parking. As for the time, I guess you will never get that back. I wonder what you do that is so important as to lost time. You must not have thought about it before you bought the tickets. I feel soooooo sorry for you and your ilk.

"Rained-out game doesn't really put a damper on Minnesota Twins" Yea, this writer finally got one right! the pathetic twins didn't lose and embarrass themselves in front of home fans! don't worry they will be back to losing tonight!

You might as well start calling them the porcelain Twins. I have never seen a team with more minor health issues that turn into major issues.

What frosts my a** is that we get told time and time again what a wonder marvel of technology this field is in that it's capable of handling volumes of rain water so that a game like last night could be played. Was Gardy worried that someone would get sick? Injured? COME ON! They already have Ebola running through the clubhouse, what could possibly go wrong?

Clearly, this postponement had NOTHING to do with rain.

Fine, you got your "much needed" day off. Just don't pull that stunt 20 minutes before opening pitch. Go ahead and do it one or two hours before game time. When it was actually raining.

And another thing, why not keep Target Field open for a couple of hours so the those of us wishing to foolishly part with our money can do so by boozing, eating and having a little fun?

Twins lost last night. Regardless of playing or not.

You seem to have all the answers, well at least you pretend and think you do. Considering you're not from Minnesota you're not required to pay an additional tax to support a billionaire and his team, so I would have to deem your input as mindless gibberish.

In the meantime, to the southeast, The ML Brewers played, and won, 14-7. Oh yeah, they have a roof at their stadium...

I thought a rain out was supposed to be a drenching rain, with lightning?

So a drizzle counts now? I guess like a football game. Cancel it since a little snow is falling.

I feel bad for the folks that wasted time and money to get there for nothing.....NOT.....

SUCKERS.
