The awards for the Twins sound about right. I think Young may have been a close second in mvp voting - although is poor defense is difficult to overlook.

Joe Mauer the MVP???? Are you kidding me? This pansy gets so much credit he doesn't deserve, it's becoming nauseating! Delmon Young was and is their MVP...hands down and no questions about it. This Mauer is a softie....he should stick to what he does best....having cookies and milk with his mommy!
P.S.........Delmon gets the shaft all the time!

So your smarter than the Baseball writers who followed the team all year long? As for Pansy, really??, I am sure you wouldn't last 3 weeks catching every day a the big league level and hit over 300, for the 3rd consecutive year.
Maybe you're a little jealous of JM's success??

Im glad to see Michael Cuddyer getting the recognition he deserves. The choide of Joe Mauer as twins' mvp, to me, should have been a close vote between mauer and cuddyer. Cuddyer's ability to step in at whatever position the the manager put him and play well at all positions is incredible. I am personally hoping the twins keep their same lineup, of course, with justin morneau at 1st, mauer catching, keeping orlando houston at 2nd, hardy at ss, valencia (really improved every game), delmon young (what a season), span, and of course cuddyer in right. Kubel dh/ph/of and thome as dh/ph keep a strong bench. Rotation is good but need a top notch stopper to get twins chances of advancing in playoffs (over the hump).
