Ahh, Sabathia may have had a slightly better ERA than Beckett, but come on. Did anybody see the f***** playoffs. Sabathia got destroyed by Red Sox hitting in both of his outings. Josh Beckett is the true Cy Young winner.

A heartbreak for Josh....but he has the rings, and CC was terrible when it counted.

Sabathia blows. Beckett was robbed. Forget the postseason where Beckett roasted Sabathia, his numbers were better in the regular season. 20 wins to 19 is big. bigger than 3.27 era to 3.21. Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News left a Red Sox player off his ballot! big shocker

Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News left a Red Sox player, Beckett, off his ballot. His behavior certainly defines what he is as a "sportsman and a gentleman". Congratulations to Beckett for earning the World Series MVP award!

It was voted for before the postseason... If Beckett wanted to win it he could've, C.C. Sabathia shouldn't feel proud, all Beckett had to do was try against the twins which, probably would've lowered his ERA to 3.10-20(Range) and gives him 21W and 6L, making him dominant for it..
