When in the sam hill are the Sox going to DUMP Contreras .
He sucks anymore. He needs to go do a tour in the minnors and see if they can get he back on track. If he cant trade him.

I'll take the 2 of 3 ,but Sox need to get a solid starter to stay in contention. Halladay's price might be too much ? Jose's outing today was similar to the ones that got him sent down earlier in year. Hopefully just a bad game for Jose. Castro does not seem like the vet catcher sox dealt for. His whole game needs improvement.

Looks like the "good Jose" is back to being the "bad Jose."

One more reason we need another quality starter, however, not at the expense of our best young players and another front line pitcher, like Morrissey suggests. That would be worse than a zero sum game.

Sorry, but you move to 0-165.
Sox Nation, since Slydog wants to know us so well, let's make sure we head over to the Cubs boards and get to know him and the other Cub fans this week.
Should be a fun week with the Cubs playing Philly.
Whaya say?
We look forward to your dumb posts

Maybe you can get all 18 SU X fans to come over with you

I still never heard Kenny Williams explain why he gave up a promising prospect in Brandon Allen for a dime a dozen middle reliever That move did not have to be made...Kenny just had an itch to do something and he gave away part of the future.

All Sox fans have to realize just because Contreras had 2 good games since being called up today he's back to what he really is
washed up and not consistent. I have said many times that if the Sox stick with this guy he will hurt them in the end not help them.
Freddy Garcia is in the same catagory so now what Mr. Williams?

ha. what a great game. listening to this on the way home i laughed all the way. after the sorry state of affairs from the chick in section 148 yesterday. i hope you cried in your $9 import heiny, but alas, you probably were not paying attention, just like yesterday.
your beloved "sox" will never win against the yankees (hmm didn't they just sweep that first place team in the al central...?), bosox, rays, or maybe even blue jays if you let the orioles school you like today.
"DJ" had so many excuses today on the radio you'd think he forgot his homework in 2nd grade.
while this may not be representative of all sox fans, the announcers on am radio and the representation in section 148 was dismal.
i'll take stl, cubs, and royals fans over the yesterday's display anyday of the week.
