Cowardly Braves

There are 10 comments on the Vallejo Times-Herald story from Oct 18, 2010, titled Cowardly Braves. In it, Vallejo Times-Herald reports that:

Yes, I realize the Giants have already played Philadelphia twice. However, let us all still be grateful that the local lads disposed of the Atlanta Braves and their obnoxious, offensive and obscene "Tomahawk Chop." Yes, that's Midge Wagner smiling after the Giants finished off their first-round foes of the National League Play-Offs. Wagner, a ...

A mother in North Carolina pays her college-student daughter $300 to stay off Facebook. Next up:$500 to not date an unemployed bartender,$525 for not wearing anything but turtleneck sweaters,$600 for not dating a newspaper reporter and $1,000 for not dating any Times-Herald columnist named "Rich." KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, FREEDMAN!

You have to be the most ignorant sob who ever has written for this paper. It's the Governors fault for the cuts that took place? Who is the majority party in this state and driven into the ground? The same party as you asswipe. Go back on vacation, that's when the paper is best. Besides, nobody has cared about your opinion for yearsÂ…weak and worthless would sum you up...

Bang, you are absolutely correct in your response.

Why are newspapers going out of business----read this piece of crap, "Cowardly Braves". Oh well you get what you pay for.

What is cowardly is writing something for a newspaper and not putting your name on it. Especially when you write something as condescending as your silly Braves note.

I've known "Freed" for years, and worked with him. Half the stuff he writes, he doesn't believe. He's just as likely to bounce any political party, or any team. This is pure entertainment, and should be read with a grain of salt. This guy is a decent human being, and rather harmless. If you were down and out, and he knew about it, he'd be the first to help you.

"He's just as likely to bounce any political party" Really? If that is the case, show the examples. This fool leans so far to the left it's ridiculous!! He bitches about money all the time, yet wants to see more spent, even after the state is almost bankrupt. The worst part about him, he is boring and predictable. What ever happended to Dan Judge?

The Braves are a good team but i have 2 points to make.
First after Cody Ross avoided a pitch to the head the fans cheered. That's sick!
Second after SF won the series Braves fans celebrated their manager's retirement and not giving respect to the SF Giants.
Better luck next year

Why do so many people get their underwear in a knot over what Richard Freedman writes? Go kick your cat. Buy a ticket to the movies. Wash your car. Take your wife to dinner. Buy a homeless person lunch. But, don't have a stroke and die early because you hate someone who is laughing at you now for taking him too seriously.

Hey Freedman, I got a message for you: Go F--K yourself. Youre the biggest crybaby loser whiner Ive seen. You better stop getting on NASCAR fans or youre gonna stir up a hornets nest. Go write some more hooker jokes or one more thing you DONT qualify for. Youre one more reason NOT to buy this paper.
