This trade makes no sense to me. The Sox and Jays swapped shortstops and that one didn't work for me either. Gonzalez was very productive in Boston defensively, but offensively he just didn't get it done. Marco Scutaro was the opposite. Then they swap positions and Gonzalez goes homer-happy in a bigger park and Scutaro provides steady, but not sensational numbers at Fenway. Now Gonzalez gets a shot at a ring and Toronto ships out it's most productive shortstop in years! What is going on north of the border? Sounds an awful lot like the head-scratching moves made yearly in Oakland.
