So I travelled to Baltimore with my daughter last night. I have been feeling like the only O's fan outside of Baltimore for years now. I have adopted the Phillies (where I live) during the recent dark days of the Birds. But last night was a rebirth and reinvigorated my fanhood ...
I particularly loved the fact that every time the Red Sox fans started a "let's go sox" cheer - the O's fans (few though they were) shouted them down. I sincerely hope this great franchise keeps on this move.
I have loved the Orioles since I was a kid and I never lived in Baltimore - and I look to a bright future and another World Series championship in my lifetime - like within the next 40 years???
