White Sox season blacked out by Rays
The White Sox 's victory Sunday turned out to be nothing more than delaying the inevitable, as they fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 6-2 on Monday in a game starkly reminiscent of the first two games of the series.

I'm a die hard Cubs fan but kudos to the Sox. You guys played your hearts out the last week and got beat by a better team and your fans can be proud. No shame in that. Wish I could say the same about the Cubs.

So long White Sox for '08! Nice that they made the postseason and nice that they won a game (unlike the Cubbies), but they basically had no chance against whomever they played in this postseason. The Sox simply have to revert to the style of play they had in '05, this style of play can at best only get you into the playoffs but you can never expect to win the whole thing.

To the real fans. The injuries hurt, No crede, No jose contreras, no MVP Quentin, no healthy Konerko till the last couple months. They ae not the only reason the sox did not win but that was a part. The club played with their hearts and we should be proud of them.
