Report: New York Yankees 'Quietly Interested' in Michael Bourn

The New York Yankees outfield is thought to be set now with the re-signing of Ichiro Suzuki, but Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that the team is "quietly interested" in free-agent center fielder Michael Bourn .

They are not going to sign Bourn. He's going to want a lot of money over too many years. They are going to try to piece it together on the cheap. I wish they'd sign him but it isn't going to happen. Besides, that would give them four lefty hitting outfielders that are all regular starters. It would make it almost impossible to trade Granderson for anything worthwhile.
