As a long time (squeeky clean)Angel fan I am both excited and horrified!
The thought of the lineup, especially on a team that was so short on hitting is "really" exciting.
However, not to put some restrictions regarding his problems is really insane. Aldo, as we have seen these long term contracts tie up too much money for other things.
Now, quite obviously a trade will happen. If they can put no restrictions in his contract, they can do anything ( like moving Trumbo). I could part with Peter. The logical person to be dealt is Kendrys Morales. But there is nothing logical here.
On the other hand I remember, when the Dodgers controlled the town. Like everyone, the thought of "that" lineup in the short term is extremely exciting and on everyone's mind and "that" is the point, isn't it?
