Congratulations, Chuck. I had the inside scoop that you would never move the Drilelrs to Jenks, but it was clever to let Tulsa think that. I think the deal you wound up with will be mutually beneficial. To have let them go to Jenks would have been a travesty.
The new park design looks great, and the progress that is already planned around this area by people like Kaiser, Sharp, et. al., is something that will finally shut up your detractors once they see how great it will be.

I only clicked that effing submit button twice, not 3 times, and only after correcting a spelling error.

p.s. My name is really Tjuan, and I'm not in Vera, but I will be soon, right after she finishes another bottle of Mad Dog.

Shame on Tulsa and boo to Chuck... he won't get ANY of my money. This ballpark ISN'T needed AT all as the previous one was fine. I'm glad that I don't own any property getting OVER TAXED for a PRIVATE enterprise!!!

Like that area didn't have an "urban feel" to it already?

I hope you can fill the seats. If I remember right, a few years back they would give away free tickets at local stores and the seats were still empty. It is nice to know a team no one cares to go see, has a brand new field.

They STILL give out free tickets. We used to go fairly often but when I learn about Chuck's true colors, I quit and haven't been back for several years.

Have you been to a Drillers game lately? Nobody attends these games. I feel sorry for the business owners getting the tax hike. To think these businesses are going to prosper due to the Drillers is crazy.
