As I stated on the other forum, Mrs Marsh is unproven in the long term. When you have a coach in Mr McKendree that is loved by the players, a winning record where ever he has coached and wanted the job after being an asst for many years. Its a shame

Maybe Mr McKendree should take the job at Perry.

Good luck to the new coach in a very tough position. She's replacing Schembra who has been there forever and had a winning program... Hard shoes to fill.
I think Mr. McKendree should definitely consider the job at Perry. |

This Volleyball program will be very hard to continue in the winning ways. They will never be the same without Coach Schembra. Missy Marsh is no way the coach that Schembra was. She will let the "program" go down the tubes. But, you need to becareful what you wish for, cause if you don't win your out!

I think everyone at Perry knew Marsh would bail on them once Schembra retired. The problem is that she wasn't honest about it and told everyone she wasn't interested in the Roncalli job. I don't blame her, though. When you're at a school where the assistant basketball coach is constantly trying to get the girls who play both sports to quit volleyball, you're never going to have the the program you have at Roncalli (where the basketball program stinks, so there's no competition). The funny thing is that the Perry volleyball program has been much more succesful than the basketball program in recent years. She should have stayed and built on the foundation she has layed in the past few years.

We will not see a county or sectional trophy for a long time with Coach Marsh. But, remember she did stay at a Holiday Inn last night! She has more talent and will never know how to coach our kids to a championship! I guess I need to go back to my office and cry......
