Hi there. I was wondering if any of you ladies or gentlemen know any romantic places around Milwaukee. Im going to take my girlfriend there for our one year anniversary. Besides restaurants, for instance, like a park or anything else. I've been trying to look everywhere but havent really found a right spot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cudahy is rather romantic this time of year, I understand. Anyplace along Packard Ave will do.

You guys are really bad. sending that poor kid down that path. Dude - Jones Island is where they send all the poop to be processed - the sewage treatment plant. Cudahy, the meat packing center of the world, or at least at one time was, has been called the "armpit" of Milwaukee County. Don't go there. Take your sweetie somewhere like Eddie Martini's for an expensive dinner and then drive her down to the lakefront to look at the stars, park just by the hill near St. Mary's looking toward Lake Michigan and tell her she's beautiful. Bring protection - and I ain't talking about a weapon.

What you really want to do, is give her a good jabbin' in the back seat.

Drop her off at home and go out w/ the fellas.

My advice--take her out to the Pacific Northwest --to either Oregon or Washington. Wisconsin --in specific the Milwaukee area --is not in the least a very romantic place at all, I am afraid. Bleck!

Beans and Barley is great. Maybe not hugely romantic but great food and it's local... it's won a lot of Milwaukee Magazine restaurant awards.

If you are going to go to B&B, really impress your date with a stop at Milwaukee's own chain of premiere Resturante's, George La Webbs. The later, the better.

I don't appreciate the mocking... at least Beans and Barely isn't a chain diner.

If you asked to go to a place that serves beans, the only place you'd be going to afterwards, is to your own house.

There are too many dating sites that are too focused on relationship instead of just trying to help people find a date. ARomanticdate.com is one site that can help with getting a romantic date.
