SWA should buy Frontier and run the airline as a seperate entity and then set it so all SWA flights into and out of DEN can codeshare with Frontier flights. In this way SWA can down size their own presence in Denver and move their airplanes for Hawaii and international travel. In essence eliminate a competitor in much the ame way the di Airtran. Of course last time Frontier pilots got stupid and didn't want SWA, so keeping a seperate entity avoids the 'seniority' issues.

F9 actually just another attempt for RAH to do maximum media damage to F9.

Perhaps RAH's goal all along was to undermine F9 so the can supply United Express with maximum UA codeshare embraer EJet flying once if the can bury F9 once and for all.

RAH has done it's best to undermine a whole different animal since the take over.

Not thinking this trough half-pint SWA can buy all the planes it needs (it does not need or want Airbus equiment) They do not really want to downsize DEN and will go to Hawaii when the right 737's are delivered and they become ETOPS ready. They could bury F9 when they want but that will not happen until after Airtran is fully merged. Plus that merger F9/SWA might draw unwanted attention from regulators especially when both are profitable
