Air Force officials have cast their eyes on Holloman Air Force Base near Alamogordo as a possible location for training pilots to fly the F-35A. The F-35 is a multi-role fighter jet made by Lockheed Martin that has "low observability" capabilities and, as the word "multi-role" suggests, can perform different missions, such as ground attack and ... Get the Facts on the F-35 and what it will mean to your quality of life if that aircraft ever comes here. The EIS papers on it say it will damage hearing of those exposed to the f-35 flights, and they aren't even using the true noise levels when they claim that. Real noise levels are not being reported honestly. It will be sonic booming almost daily over homes, schools, and cities. Possible health impacts, besides the hearing loss listed already is stress, heart problems-stroke, heart attack, thickening of heart muscle, startle response-fear, changes in the autonomic nervous system, digestive disorders. These serious effects are listed in studies that are being ignored by the AF. Lawsuits in the past also discuessed this issue when the Navy was sued by people in NV communities where they were sonic boomed. The mayor and city in Florida by Eglin AFB also sued and won because of what the AF was trying to do there. Here even more people are being sonic boomed and put in harms way. Other cities in VA have sued for jet noise that doesn't even include sonic booms. They are doing them excessively over people here over land. Some people are already having these effects from the F-22, and other aircraft in flight space over our cities due to the noise, and repeated sonic booms. Properties will also be shaken and many stuctures will be affected. Your investment in your home may lessen when property values drop as people become aware of what is going on in NM where so many aircraft will be sonic booming right over the cities where the AF took land for increasing their airspace so they could have more NM land even that over your house. All worth it according to some who love the dollars they claim it will bring to the city more than they care about the lives of people that may be affected.

You are the one that is making the claim. So far it is baseless. Supply a link that backs your claim, otherwise you are just a noisy miser.

You must have an interest in the F-35 being based here since you are so upset that somenone would have an opposing view.

Just a resident of Alamogordo. The last thing we need is for holloman to dry up.
Now, where are your studies to back your facts? Seems like you lack the tools for an intelligent debate.

As far as fallout flak damage from the F-35, don't make much difference here, 80% of the people in this town are already permanently brain damaged.

You cannot hurt what is already too far gone to begin with.

Alamogordo better pray more AFB personell come into this town, because it is them, they arre the only people who;s gonna save your little shithole podunk fly on a turd town.

You think your new Mayor's gonna save it? Hell jo, he's gonna be the one that screws it, your biggest enemy, tucked in with the shifty fifty, the failed economic board, another failed attempt with the cookie factory.

Sure, the cookie factory will bleed money off into their accounts. Just like Marietta, they'll hire 90% of their work force as 36 hour a week employees.

Calling in for every sucker in a 30 mile radius of this shithole of a town, you'll drive the 30 miles, get to work, and then the boss tells you they're out of sugar, and flour, and to go back home, we don't need you today.

Rotten C0cksuckers at Marrieta should've been assasinated on site, for what they pulled on teir employees. And all the mexicans, trying to deepthroat the "Chorizo" to get ahead, and earn favor with the supervisors.

No I din't work there, if I did, I probably would've been on the front page news, for taking baseball bat to the heads of the bosses there.

A baseball bat makes a mighty sweet sound bouncing off some basturd's head. I learned all this from an employee who once worked there.

As for your shithole town, it wouldn't survive a month without Holloman.

Just this afternoon, driving down white sands, happened to glance into Mizu Sushi's parking lot at 4pm. Not one vehicle.

You know why? Because most alamo-ghettoans are the cheapest, most stingy, rotten dirt cheap bastards on the planet.

You deadbeats here better make the sign of the cross, thanking God, that your wonderful turdhole of a rown has people who patronize your businesses, because you sure don't!

I heard the local news talking about the threat of Kirtland AFB closing.
I believe NM will be adversely affected one way or another with military budget cuts.
People of Alamogordo need to get down on their knee's and pray the F-35 comes here.

I wasn't aware of that? You mean they close their doors at 4pm, then closed for the evening?

Geesh, I thought some of the little towns in Minnestota were bad, when they roll up the sidewalks at 10pm, nothing's open, and around many of the lakes, they sell 3.2% near beer, no real beer unless you drive all the way into town.

If they do indeed close their doors at 4pm, more proof in the pudding how badly this town needs, and depends on Holloman AFB, and cannot run a business on solely the alamo-ghetto yokels.

In that case, I don't blame them, if I was the manager-owner of Mizu Sushi, I agree,I wouldn't want a 1/2 dozen employees on the clock, when 3 people walk through the doors from 4-10pm. Sucks to be Alamo-Ghetto, doesn't it?

They call Chicago the "town that never sleeps". They should call Alamo-Ghetto "The town that never wakes". In eternal "siesta mode".

Where did I say they closed at 4pm? I said they quit serving lunch then. It was also too early for the dinner shift.
