The sudden increase in cost over the past 11 years has been the Mental Health Industry and the drugging of the military for political reasons. Then there are the secondary costs to health from the effects of the pharmacutical mind drugs.

There are also the cost of funerals from the suicides.

With all the wars fought on so many continents and all the bombs and bullets dispersed and all the soldiers returning home there was little in PTSD, mild brain injury and Depression known about until the 1990's when the Pharmaceutical mind drugs entered the market place. The Mental Health Industry was supported a few years earlier under the Reagan / Bush presidency ( Educational Act ) in 1985-86 along with the Social Service Act that funded the increases to each state. The judiciary add the Family law court in the same time frame as divorces skyrocket from propaganda and domestic violence (caused by mind drugs) shartered the society.

The educational system was attached with mind drugging (primarily males) in the beginning with bogus mind diseases such as ADD / ADHD fololowed by the bi-polar epidemic.

PDSD followed

The Mental Health Industry has mentally injured and killed more people then all the wars fought on the history of the earth in the past 50 years..

There is no science to psychiatry. No medical model. No evidence based medicine and no test for chemical balance.

The Mental health Industry has made up bogus diseases from ADD/ADHD to Bi-polar disorder and hundreds more.

With 25 percent of the military on mind drugs, our armed forces are dependent (addicted) on the drugs and that is a threat to the United State because the drugs with raw minerals are manufactured overseas and rely on transportation during a armed conflict. The Pharmaceutical / Mental Health Industry has weakened the military and threatened the health and welfare of the fighting man.

The society is also in danger by those discharged who were on mind drugs in the service or dependent on the VA for replenishment. What is missing

It is very important in the Republican Coup D'etat since the Reagan / Bush presidency (New World Order) to disrupt the stability of the social & military climate of America.

Medicating the military

Use of psychiatric drugs has spiked; concerns surface about suicide, other dangers

By Andrew Tilghman and Brendan McGarry - Staff writers

http://www.armytimes.com/news/2010/03/militar...
----------

At least one in six service members is on some form of psychiatric drug.
And many troops are taking more than one kind, mixing several pills in daily “cocktails”— for example, an antidepressant with an antipsychotic to prevent nightmares, plus an anti-epileptic to reduce headaches — despite minimal clinical research testing such combinations.
The drugs come with serious side effects: They can impair motor skills, reduce reaction times and generally make a war fighter less effective. Some double the risk for suicide, prompting doctors — and Congress — to question whether these drugs are connected to the rising rate of military suicides.
“It’s really a large-scale experiment. We are experimenting with changing people’s cognition and behavior,” said Dr. Grace Jackson, a former Navy psychiatrist.
A Military Times investigation of electronic records obtained from the Defense Logistics Agency shows DLA spent $1.1 billion on common psychiatric and pain medications from 2001 to 2009. It also shows that use of psychiatric medications has increased dramatically — about 76 percent overall, with some drug types more than doubling — since the start of the current wars.

We certainly don't want to have a mentally impaired person to have a gun. However, systematically removing the Constitutional gun right is a dirty deal by the Mental Health and Pharmacutical Industry and poses a threat to our commitment to protect and defend the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic.

So what would you have people do? And what should their doctors do for them when they come in ASKING for help. You can't indict a system you don't have an answer for.

Which means what? No therapeutics? Not hardly, just more meds looking to answer the questions for which patients(people) actually want answers.

So just how did the military and society operate or cope with mental health. What exactly are you talking about? You mean like Audie Murphy going through post traumatic stress disorder on his own locking himself in a motel room and sweating it out for a week?
