Hopefully the sequester will go throug and finally Scott Field will be placed upon a path of closure. Currently there are more civilian employees than there are military staff. It really has no mission and the so called refuelling mission doesnt even interface with some of the more modern planes.
Shut the pork barrel down. We just can't afford it any longer

Do you have a mission in life other than make stupid comments you flamer?

Shutting down SAFB should have been done ages ago. It is a releic of the cold war when it was thought inland bases were safer from offshore enemies.
The ICBM has made that theory antiquated and now the base merely provides welfare like benefits to the lucky few that get on the payroll there
Shut the loser down once and for all
Its not needed
