This has been going on for as long as the VA has been in existance. Veterans complain to their members of congress. Those members "inquire" on teh behalf of their constituants and COWARDLY administrators order the Medical Staff to "make the veterans happy".
Our veterans deserve the best care available and all they can get from the VA Medical Centers is substandard THIRD WORLD MEDICINE.
The solution? Give the veterans a health card that works everywhere and let them vote with their feet. If the VA Medical Centers are forced to compete with real world medicine, they will either improve or close.
Veterans do not need care from these little kingdoms run by ego manic Administrative staff, they need qualtity healthcare. Something the VA appears to be incapable of providing.
