Hi to all of our great men & women in all the branches in the service !
I have a son in law who inlisted in the air national guard 3 yrs ago to land a military job here in ohio .This weekend i was informed by my daughter that he decided to take a job in GA for no better pay but for simply the chance to work on transport planes they base there and of course better weather. With this new job he was told that he will be deployed for 3 months once every 18 months. With his old job in ohio he didn't stand this risk so you can understand my concern at this move because he not only has 2 small children but they will now have to deal selling their home and uprooting to and moving 800 miles away with no assistance from the military.but one of my biggest concerns is being told he will only be deployed for 3 months at a time, this seems a bit odd..so i thought i'd ask a few of you for a little insight..thank you so much.... grandpa L
