While Marlin Stutzman's comment, and as discussed in the Journal Gazette article of October 4, 2013 titled "STUTZMAN BECOMES SYMBOL OF GRIDLOCK," in regard to the government shutdown was both stupid and outrageous, however over the years I have heard many comments even far more stupid and/or even far more outrageous.
To give just a few examples.
For instance, Dianne Feinstein's comments concerning the "reasons" she herself should be allowed to carry a gun in her purse, and even though she pretends to be an extreme fanatic in favor of the most extreme gun control, or at least for other people.
Or the San Francisco Superior Court judge who insisted that when lawyer Dennis Natali and one of his clients were gunned down within a few minutes of each other (Natali and that client were in the process of talking to the FBI about corruption in the SF area, and including involving SF area judges), that there was no connection between the two murders.
Of course we "know" that those two virtually simultaneous murders were not arranged by crooked lawyers and/or the corrupt judges those crooked lawyers were paying under the table bribes to.
Or the comical story, and that some of the clowns in the media actually believed, that the murder of Chandra Levy, and just days after she began to talk about things that were extremely damaging to the reputation of Gary The Con Man, was a random murder that occurred just because she happened to be noticed by an undocumented alien, and that supposedly Levy's murder was not engineered and arranged by Gary the Con Man and/or his associates, and so that: one, Levy would be silenced; and two, also other whistleblowers and potential whistleblowers would be warned, threatened, and intimidated into silence.
In fact since Chandra Levy was murdered, and also such a short time, after she began to talk about things which were extremely damaging to Gary The Con Man, that also brings up the issue of whether Gary The Con Man had ties to organized crime. If so, perhaps we should refer to him to as Gary The Conduit To Organized Crime Man, or perhaps we could just shorten it to Gary Conduit.
