Local Air Guard in line for F-35 fighters - if base stays

Two Air Force officials told a Senate subcommittee hearing Wednesday that the F-35, which is still under development, will replace the A-10. 'We'll have a mixed force for a while, and the A-10 is uniquely capable at its mission,' said Gen.

The AF never liked the A-10. They only kept it in service because the Army said they would take it. Here is a good idea. Cancel the F-35 disgrace of a program and build more A-10's, which actually work.
