This is getting unbelievable because Puerto Rico had it's problems in the past but nothing like this.

You are right, and I do hope it will be soon with a more stronger united effort, to take control, to take our island back from all criminal elements within her shores. Puerto Ricans need to take more active pride in their education, in their willingness to work harder, to be more ethical and honest, and teach their children to do the same, as crime and drugs and gangs do not pay, it just destroys families and lives and it makes us all look bad. It is time for the wake up call, and not continue to allow no one steal our dream that Puerto Rico can make it on it's own, if it has to. I personally prefer statehood, but if not statehood, independence, because they way it is now it's only creating more and more work slavery and lazy bodies that can work harder than they do now to help make Puerto Rico stand taller and stronger than it is now.

Give us freedom or give us statehood.

The Mountains are my favorite part of Puerto Rico. What a shame!... Things you didn't hear about a few years ago are a regular occurence now. This world is becoming a lot more dangerous place all over. This is all part of biblical prophecy.

So... it's true... Puerto Rico is nothing more than just another part of the US? Or is this a problem in all of Latin America (excluding Canada)?

Why do you post "what we need...to do is change..."?

What are you doing to "change" the federal Government and Internal Affairs "in order to let Puerto Rico" change and preserve "our culture"?

Hoping for an answer....

Puerto Rico will never become independent, the US will never voluntarily give it up so stop, give up on that thought. Statehood would be ideal for the future and prosperity of PR. As (Love Puerto Ricans) stated above about the Islanders to develop Morals and Ethics How do you teach a culture that has none?

Typical American response. That is what the imperialistic conquerers from the North said when they invaded the island in 1898. Yes, you are a big hypocrite, living in PR and bashing the island and its people without saying one redeeming thing about it. You are a xenophobic buffoon and you are going to get smashed on these threads, so be prepared pinky. LOL
