Rommi, where we at the same ceremony? I attended yesterdays' welcome home and thankyou ceremony for THREE Marines. Your headline states St Charles Marine Gets Warm Welcome Home. All three of these Marines honorably served and deserve equal praise. I was there and heard Cpl Nick Milbourn say "it is a honor that my friends who served before me are being honored too." Do you not understand the bond that these Marines share? Cpl Milbourn would NEVER want to claim the highlight for yesterdays recognition.
I did not hear Mayor Dewitte remarks either. The Warrior Watch presented each of the Marines with coins and escorted the Marine Corps limo on their motorcycles through St Charles to the Milborn home. Fox Valley Troop Support and Operation Welcome You Home also helped the Milbourns plan the entire surprise.
