March Healthcare Development

Jun 2, 2010 Full story:

Officials at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, along with its parent company, Catholic Healthcare West, today announced that it has agreed to partner with Riverside Medical Clinic to offer services at a proposed large-scale medical complex to be built at March Air Reserve Base.

St. Bernardine Medical Center, owned by Catholic Healthcare West, and Riverside Medical Clinic announced Wednesday at a groundbreaking ceremony that the two, along with March Healthcare Development, would spend the next six months developing detailed plans to create an "integrated health delivery system" they described as a 150-bed hospital, a senior care facility, outpatient services and medical offices.

It was just one year ago, two planning commissioners claimed we would never see high-tech and high paying jobs here in Moreno Valley. Well I guess Mr. Geller and Dozier were wrong.

Soon we will see a total of 19,900 new jobs, some in construction with the others in the medical fields. Now these are what some might see as career jobs as well as meaningful jobs. And to think, that doesn't even take into consideration the other jobs this development will creat such as food sales, and other auxiliary and service jobs, or the business these needs may creat.

The only thing that seems to be missing here however is the JOBS NOW people, and of course the Governor himself. One can only guess who is donating big to his campaign funds this year.

Do you think we will see Delbert (Raul) Wilson, Librada Murillo, Ms. Palomarez, and the rest of the Skechers Benzeevi cheer crowed, at ever council meeting asking why it isn't built yet?

I bet not. That is unless this developer wishes to spend the money like Iddo does.

Well ... Ms Baca Vaca Caca - the Moreno Valley School District better start making sure that their students actually get an education that include ENGLISH if they ever hope to have students actually get a job in the proposed medical center besides being janitors and kitchen workers.
