Orders revoked on soldier who claims Obama not legally president

A reserve soldier who said he should not have to go to Afghanistan because Barack Obama was never legally eligible to be the president has had his deployment orders revoked, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported Wednesday.

All military people take an oath to defend the Constitution, not any politician in office and they have the right and duty to disobey any orders that they feel are illegal or against the Constitution. Those are "military rules". You apparently didn't understand the oath when you took it. |

1 This only applies under a "declared" war. Let's turn the table for a second. What should a soldier/Marine do if given the order to bear weapons on his/her own people? Should he/she follow that order or refuse it constitutionally? The way things are looking, we may just have the opportunity to see how some will answer this question. |
