U know I have been in the Military for awhile now and this "Fairbanks" Community is the worst community I have ever lived in as far as supporting the military. I am no different then you I just wear a uniform and go do things like go to war. Pretty much stuff that 99 percent of this community would never have the guts to do. Your Community would not be anything if it was not from us. We bring in 75 percent of your stores profits. I do have to agree there are alot of idiots in the military and we r kicking them out but that does not give you the right to bash the rest of us that do good in the military. I Beat you that none of you would ever say any of these things to a military persons face and thats a fact. So quit acting like children and support us as we do your community. Take a look at ur own communities problems. Your commuinty is not as close nit and welcoming as you advertise it to be. Yes I said advertise because all of those alaska tv shows do not show the real community just the fake crap everyone in the lower 48 wants to see.

Sorry 'Screw Fairbanks' for the few in our community have made you feel this way about our town. I have lived here in Alaska for over 30 years, and i can see that its a changed town, but there are still alot of the real Alaskans here I hope that you get the chance to meet some of them to show you what real Alaskan hospitality is. Remember, you can't judge all of us because of some jackasses... they probably aren't real Alaskans anyway, probably just moved here to collect the PFD's. There are people all over the country, the world that simply walk around waisting oxygen. My father served two tours in Vietnam, I have a great deal of respect for all branches of the military, and I wish i knew your name or was able to shake your hand, to tell you that as this true Alaskan, I respect all you do, and thank you for your service in protecting us here in the USA. Its a shame that some people are even allowed to breed. I would like to say im truly sorry for the shame some idiots running their mouths have made you feel. God bless you and yours.... Happy New Years!
