Army still a benefit to Liberty County
Last week's decision by the Department of Defense to not locate a fifth brigade at Fort Stewart is deeply disappointing to our community, another lesson that decisions made in Washington, D.C. are not written in stone.

Why won't liberty county Ga do something other than focus on fort Stewart? Heres an example, woo recreational or family oriented things like a zoo, aquarium, and anything else that attract customers. Talk to businesses like "Books a Million, "Pep Boys, Target store, and Best Buys. The latter will come if you offer something. Stop Relying On Uncle Sam Only!

We already have a zoo, and a 3 ring circus. Where have you been? Ft. Stewart is the cash cow that keeps Liberty viable. Wanna see a politician sweat, just wait for the next round of military base closing session. Some serious ass kissing going on.

Ft.Stewart makes humans into a circus, come watch the man with no legs.A real ZOO would be nice.
