Soldiers charged with plotting to kill Obama and overthrow the government

Jeremy Herb, writing at The Hill reports that a group of Army soldiers hatched a plot to overthrow the U. S. Government.

Army soldiers formed a militia group in Georgia that plotted to overthrow the U.S. government and they killed a fellow soldier and his girlfriend to keep the plot secret, prosecutors alleged Monday, according to the Associated Press. Prosecutors in the Long County, Ga., case say that the militia group planned to overtake the nearby Fort Stewart, to bomb a dam in Washington state and poison the state's apple crop and ultimately overthrow the government and assassinate the president, according to reports.

No self respecting individual should vote for a lesser of 2 evils. Would you marry a lesser of two evils? Would you sleep with a lesser of 2 evils? Would you be friends with a lesser of 2 evils?
I would assume that answer is no, so then why would a self respecting individual vote for a lesser of 2 evils?
My own dignity refuses to allow me to vote for either of these two idiots. And it is not like we even get to choose. The choices are made for us. Our votes actually vote for the electorates and the electorates choose which person they want. They can completely go against the will of the people.
So screw that. Vote for local only. Do not even dis-respect yourself by voting for an electorate.
Every Presidential vote I've cast (save one) was for the lesser of two evils.

Where do you get off, playing that?
People like you put George W Bush into the presidency by voting for Ralph Nader over goofy Al Gore.

You have a duty, paid for in blood, to cast your best vote for president.

At least, write in someone,(like Mr_Bill.)

I do write in. I write in myself because all of the rest are nothing more than globalist pieces of crap.

I think you maybe missing the point. Why do we as self respecting individuals have to pick a lesser of 2 evils? Why don't the people stand up and say no more?

We the people have given the democrats control and what have they done with it? Basically taken a massive shit on the constitution and the people. Then the people have given the Republicans the power and what did they do with it? Basically taken a massive shit on the constitution and the people. So why do we the people have to deal with that? We should not. So I myself am making a stand. No more. Will it matter? More than likely not unless more stand up and say no more.

But the whole thing is nothing more than a freaking reality show. Let's have Romney give his speech from a warship, that will make him look like a good leader.*cough* he never served one day in the military. Well let's put Hillary Clinton in KY in front of some hay bales and have her say Y'all, like she is one of them.

If I could find a country as easy to get into as America is for foreigners, I'd leave. This country has cracked up and I don't care what color president you vote for, nothing's going to get better.

You are absolutely right, but you know what America's REAL problem is? Stupidity; and I wonder if THAT hasn't been part of a greater plan.

It would seem that every successive generation since about 1965 has gotten increasingly less intelligent. They can't write, they can't spell, they can't use grammar, they can't put two sentences together that make any sense, they haven't even a basic fund of history knowledge. They get through college and don't have the common sense God gave a stump. When it comes to social and political values they seem to have no individual thought; it's all collective thinking, all parroting things they've heard elsewhere. When you challenge them to explain their position they can't do it. They can only repeat what they've heard.

I'm like you. It's not going to matter one iota who becomes president, except the racists will finally be content to get that black man out of Washington. They would vote for the devil himself to make that happen. What I've seen over the last 10 years has disgusted me with politics and people. This is NOT the America I grew up in. This is some foreign land that has become a greed-driven, hateful, mean-spirited, obnoxious playground where selfish grown-ups throw rocks at one another in hopes they can have the monkeybars all to themselves.

Where America is heading is NOT where we want it to go, but it's going there despite Obama, despite Romney, despite all our efforts. If we had any complaints with our government, we should have expressed them a long, long time ago. It's too little, too late now.

And that's how America has gotten where it is today.

Have you ever noticed that candidates for government offices are never terribly smart people? Ever notice they all seem a bit dopey? One would think people running for high political office would be the cream of America's crop. Why do those in top Cabinet positions never run for president? THEY, of all people, have been around the block and have some insider experience.

Why are ALL candidates for presidential positions picked out of the ether like dust motes? Who had ever heard of Sarah Palin or even Barack Obama, for that matter?

Could it be candidates are CHOSEN for us on the basis of their malleability and ability to become puppets? And I especially believe this of Republican candidates, because we've seen Obama fight desperately against the tide, yet even he, I think has allowed himself to be manipulated.

Is it true that our government really is run by a higher power and that our elected officials dance under the control of out-of-sight puppeteers? When you think beneath the surface, it would seem our political system is kind of a farce, a game played to keep the masses dumb and thinking they have a choice.

As much as I cannot wait to see Obama gone from that office, Romney is not going to do any better.
Welcome in the new boss, same as the old boss. Was there any difference between Bush and Obama? Nope. Same policies, same crack downs on our freedoms and repeals of constitutionally protected rights. To think that Romney is going to be any different is just comical at best.
What you people don't realize is that when laws are put into place they don't take affect right away. A lot of things that President Obama deals with are ignorant greedy people who's ancestors stole the land from Indians and want to rule everything still. Times are changing and Romney will not win I declared that in the name of Jesus! Romney is a greedy european that wants to stay living the high life and has disregard for those who are less fortunate! Stain is using GOD's people in such a way that is destorying what GOD has intended for us. There is no recession in heaven and only GOD's people will prevail. Do you know Jesus...if not you are doomed!

First off this country was in a downward spiral before Obama and it will continue to fall as long as racist iodiots still walk the Earth. Calling someone "nappy", come on. I guess you assisted those fools too. Insults and disrespect will never solve the problem. The issue is not our black president or the people who work under him. Truth be told the country was having financial issues before the blacks got in the "WHITE house". The issue is terrorists that are in the United States military and the grief that have caused to these people's families. Does everyone have ADHD? Stay on task, deal with and discuss the issues at hand. Stop harping about the President he wasn't in office during 9/11, but who was? If the sky fell tomorrow how would you racists blame Obama for that? It is an embarrassment to the U.S. as a whole, so STOP! Frankly, blaming Obama for everything just simply shows that mentalities like this are just as dangerous as the idiots that are being detained for this horrible crime. Your ignorance just fuels an already raging fire. If you are not willing to extinguish it, you are a catalyst. There is a song called "Blame it on the Rain", I guess it has changed to "Blame it on Obama". They obviously weren't raised well and it shows.
