i was there on thurs. morning, just as i was there the last time my son deployed for iraq, There weren't as many mom's, dad's, siblings, or friends,
as the last time, but it was better organized, we didn't sit around for 5 hours waiting, it was better for all that the waiting was shorter this time, but it just as hard and painful, watching young dads with their babies, mom's with sons, wives and husbands. Some of the soldiers were eager to go- a new adventure, others ,been there - done that !! the delayed they had at hunters was fine with me, it gave them 1 more day in the states,
I hope and pray that this is a short year, and the boys are bored, which translate nothing is happening and they're as safe as can be in a war zone
