Robert, it has been two years sind you passed away. I just want to keep your legacy alive. When I think of what happened to you, I still feel a dreadful hollow in the pit of my stomach. I pray you are resting in heaven. You were a troubled gentle soul. Rest from all of your labor.

Love,

This so sweet that you still think of him. I am his wife's aunt and so do I. This is such a tragedy.

I can understand your anger but your comments are counterproductive and wont bring your friend back. Reguardless your friendship you werent in their relationship in know what was going on enough. Have enough respect to honor your friend by remembering the positive things he did in his life and the ones he loved by letting them mourn and hel past this.

Bobby and my husband were close. I see the way that these soliders still mourn for Bobby. They miss so much about him...playing poker with him, hearing him humming and singing Frank Sinatra songs. He is sorely missed by all of the soldiers that were at FOB Falcon with him, and those who knew him well here at Stewart. May God be with you all.

It has been three years since your death, and I feel like I can finally BREATH...I felt like Georgia was my home away from home, but since your death I haven't been able to go back. I think of Marquita, Ike and his wife, and Aunt Pam. Forgive me for not keeping in touch. I know its been rough on you guys, but especially rough on me. Bobby was not only my brother, but also my best friend. Even though he was younger, I leaned on him, and he leaned on me. He will be forever in my memory, and I promise to visit soon.

Nowlin, we miss you too. You were so good to us during that time. Even though we have not been in touch, I have been praying for you. Tell your wife I said hello. How is your daughter; the little preacher. I would love to see you all again, please let me know if you are on facebook, so I can communicate with you. I am Evangelist Pamela Hill. I just want to keep Nowlin's memory alive.
Love you all,

First off dummy u got it all wrong and so foed every one else. Nowlin returned from Iraq not yhe same person. He had severe ptsd. He was drunk on our way home snd
kept opening yhe car doors and pulling the stering wheel on the highway so I pulled over. While we were driving he started talking out of his head. After I pulled over we both got out the car . He just snapped and started hitting and kicking me for no reason
. My husband never raised his voice at me do I scared me yo death. I jumped in the car n left. We lived right up yhe street. I went home snd hid all the guns snd knives and went back to get him. I didnt just leave him dumb ho. And yes his phone had a signal. But it was dead he never liked to charge it. So know the factd first. I loved my husband dearly so the hell with u and mr haha who wife work in s1.... it was not my fault... so for those of u who talk behind my back you r in s better position to kiss my @$$. And whatd funny is the msin ones on here popping off th the mouth the same ones who got busted down for adultry in iraq. I was so shock to read this garbage. But thats life... oh n by the way s1 gave u thr wrong info. U just heard it from the horses mouth.. im not trying yo bash my husband may he rest in peace but only set the facts straight for the dumb hoes and stupid !@#$/^&. Thankyou]

Baby, you don't have to defend yourself. Your husband knows you loved him, and you know he loved you. We want to honor Nowlin, not dishonor him. Iraq causes some cruel changes in the lives of your soldiers. We still miss Nowlin and we always will. May God bless his soul and may he rest in peace. Maquita, give all of this over into the hands of God, he will handle it.

Nowlin, it is that time of the year again, the time that you went home to be with the Lord. I just wanted you to know that you are not forgotten and you are still missed. In spite of all of the comments left here; the bottom line is that you were and still are loved very dearly by your wife, you family and your friends. My you rest in peace,

Love Aunt Pam
