The Vietnam welcome at fort sill was great, the soldiers and civilians workers to include contractor worker made my day. Best of all was the school kids standing alone the route with sign, it was heart breaking and just couldn't keep from holding back the tears. I would love to thank the Fort Sill Commander and all fort Sill and Lawton.
When I arrived back from Vietnam in Jan 1971 people call me every bad name you could call someone(baby killer, etc. In Vietnam I only fired my weapon to zero it when I first got there. I was a forklift operator, which off lifted ships with war stock and supplies. Again thanks Fort Sill and Lawton, you made us proud.
