a scmily any good at all. Nobody buys medals or decorations today at all. Could have been better if money were given to the family of that soldier. Anyway, may he rest in peace now, after giving his services to his country during the war. Had he known that people today are not worth dying for, he would have been better off as a civilian.

This Medal given to the family means a lot to them, and if the people who say it was a waste of time, then what would have happened if Japan had beaten America?

If Japan had beating America millions more in Asia would had perished. Plus we would all had to learn the Japanese language.

If you were even half way educated to the horrors of that march you wouldn't say a word. But let me help you with your sympathy to those men. Many were Filipino scouts. Thought I would mention that because if it was just Americans you wouldn't give a shit like the rest of your racist friends in here.

I personally know Filipino men that survived it and escaped. They had to drink from binjo ditches.

No surprize Crystard would defend Robert seeing as how they are the same person. And remember Crystal believes to this day that Japan commited no war crimea in the Phils hell she believes the Japanese were the Filipinos allies remember?

All the brave Filipinos who died in the march are of no consequence to Crystards ilk. No she cries over cut throat Mindanao rebels who send children with guns to their death getting killed. Those are her heroes.

My wife's father escaped the death march. He was a Philippine scout. The stories he told me were beyond anything human. He escaped around Dinalupihan and went over the mountains at Florida Blanca and into Subic. He hid in the mountains and him and others would come down at night and cut the heads off Japanese.

They slaughtered his best friends for fun in the march. Gutted them with bayonets and laughed as they screamed and slowly died. Yes he hated the Japs to the day he died.

The Japanese mentality was tjat anyone who didn't die in battle wasn't a true warrior and didn't deserve to be treated as a human. Japanese who testified later said as much that anything you do to a prisoner is fair game as they aren't human anymore. Of course that idealation went out the window when they were caught lol.

Oh yes they would lie their asses off or blame their superior officers. They knew better, but nothing better than lighting them up with a bomb at 10,000 degrees. Hell of a way for an attitude adjustment.

The dropping of the Atom Bomb on Japan shortened the war with Japan which may have still been going today, and also saved the lives of many Japanese prisoners of war,not only American but British and Commonwealth Troops, also Dutch, and other nations, not to mention those in Asia, especially the Chinese who were slaughtered in their millions, and treated like vermin. However we cannot forget that the japanese suffered as well innocent women and children, because of the Japanese Religion and Hirhito the God Emperor. In the United Kingdom of Great Britain and N.Ireland we had a King, who was also the King of the British Commonwealth and the Empire, which failed to stop the Japanese, and were defeated in Singapore, and Hong Kong, fighting with outdated equipment against Japanese modern equipment. After V.E.day,Victory in Europe,we were still fighting the Japanese in the far east, but the atom bomb, stopped the war,and then we Celebrated V.J. Day,Victory over the Japanese.

Yes two Atom bombs,to be explicit but the japanese still have god and their religion and all other countries still have theirs, including America and the english speaking people. However they all have their own Gods not ours, even thought here is no god but Allah, but probably not our god, some religions have more than one God.
