Guard, Army soldiers returning to Kansas from Iraq
Hundreds of Army and National Guard soldiers are returning to Kansas this weekend after yearlong deployments to the war in Iraq.A welcoming ceremony was set for 8 a.m. Saturday at Fort Riley's Custer Hill for 200 soldiers of the 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division.
