I wonder if it's Jerry aka Bacatu inside the car? He might have decided to end his miserable life.

You can always tell Jerry`s alive and well by his derogatory avatars on any post he disagrees with, which is virtually every one.

Have some respect you all. This is a horrible thing to happen to this person and we don't need to hear about Jerry or whoever you may disagree with. I just hope the body is properly identifyed and the family has lots of support.

Hopefully this wont come across as offensive to anyone, but what is taking so long to get the information out about this one?

It seems that local law enforcement is hitting about .250 on solving murders in this area recently.

No info on this one at all and for some reason the JCPD doesn't seem to have any more info about Crystal's murder either when there are obvious suspects. We also have the baby case that seems to have been forgotten about as well.

The cost of the BKD investigation to the taxpayers. That is a problem, and we`re working on it. What a catch-phrase! JC is lucky we all love it too much to leave. We bitch, whine, piss, and moan..... And we stay. Go figure. Try not to stare at things you shouldn`t see, but can`t help yourself, much like a horrific accident scene. Wherever you be, there you are.

This is on Fort Riley so it's a Fort Riley investigation and the military doesn't release a lot of information on anything - they play by a completely different set of disclosure rules. Actually military or civilian, they wont' release information on an ongoing investigation. While the general public may have seemingly forgotten about some of the cases, I trust the JCPD is doing the best they can to follow up on all leads.

Wherever you be, there you are. That was the motto of most Infantrymen in days past. It`s as comforting a phrase as I`ve ever heard,as an Infantryman.

OK. Fort Riley can't just give out information. They aren't here to fill everyone's need for knowing everything. And as for the JCPD forgetting about the other things that have been happening around here. Trust me, they havent. They are working around the clock investigating each and every detail. NOW, if you knew what happens inside JCPD doors, you would know that. They have been posting things in the DU about how they need the communities help. In every crime, there is someone who knows something. They will solve who killed Crystal and the baby.

Why are there so many complaints about the high crime levels in JC. Look at Manhattan, they have alot more murders, agg. robberies and violent felonies in one month than JC has in an entire year.

Manhattan does not have more murders then JC
