This was an act of domestic violence. I am tired of the media not getting their facts straight. SGT Franklin had issues before he joined the service and deployed. And yes the deployment smay have made his anger issues worse but that doesn't excuse him from murdering his wife by shooting her several times in the back as she was trying to get away from him. He is no war hero. And is also not decorated with any outstanding medals. I'm glad he was not allowed to be buried with military honors. He didn't deserve it, no matter what kind of man or soldier he was to everyone else. He showed his real self to Jessie and now she is dead. And her children are left without a mom. Her family is raising them
