I cannot believe what has happened here! What on earth is this world coming to? Has our military being in the middle east rubbed off on our country or what? This is absolute INSANITY!

I know the individual and I am shocked he did this. He was a very loving individual. I am still in shock. The woman killed was someone that he had a on off relationship with. He had lived with her at one time but had recently moved back home. So sad she leaves behind children.

He was a very nice man, a great father and a loving friend. He was my father and we will never understand why he did this. He hurt his children, his loved ones, and his family. He also hurt a very nice young ladies family as well and has left two beautiful children without their mother. My father has never been to the Middle East. You don't have to deploy to be able to do something like this. Whatever my fathers reasons were, they were to much for him to bare. We send our prayers and condolences to her family for their loss. We love our father and nothing could ever change that. Nothing has ever happened like this in our family and no family deserves the pain that is left for all of us to deal with. I understand that everyone has their opinions or their reasoning's on who my father was and what caused him to do this. That is a answer that we will never know. Do know that this could happen to anyone and no family is safe from a tragedy like this. I never imagined this would happen but it knocked on our door. Be blessed, love your family, listen, pay attention, and never think it won't be the last time. That knock may visit your doorstep one day. By the grace of GOD I pray it doesn't because the pain is unbearable for any family to handle whether your love one was the suspect or the victim. We will always love our father and our prayers go out to her and her family. May God help and bless us all.
Bless you

First, I commend you for speaking out and for trying to show understanding, it shows a lot. I just wanted to say my prayers are with you and all of your families. Be strong, every thing happens for a reason, even if we can't see why now.

I am stationed here at Fort Lewis. I had a brief interaction with the young lady on Saturday of last week. I have no idea as to the amount of pain that your family has to endure, but know that you are in my prays. We must all remember that everyone handles things differently. Know and keep in mind that they are both in a better place. Keep you heads up and lean on the one that WILL carry you through, Jesus Christ. At a time like this, I will wish your family a way to be at peace with the whole tradegy and many blessings. Someone, please be there for those you young children.

Its so sad that the media allows poeple to feed them information without getting the whole and I do mean whole story. Every article that was written was all about what the female victim's family said....I just typed the keyword "SAID". I am the best friend of his daughter and even though I have never me him a day in my life, I know this man was loving, caring and would do anything for the ones he loved. His family is hurting just like her family is. He wasn't deranged, or a stalker. That's the problem with people theses days....they automatically jump to conclusions and only get one side. No one deserves to lose a love one....no one, but on that note you never know what a person is going thru or what they have been thru. We are humans, and none of us is perfect. Instead of making off the wall comments, pray for both families and pray that you don't have to ever go thru the pain that they are feeling right now. And on another note....there is no way that I could be doing interview after interview when i'm grieving. Did anyone stop to ask why his family is not doing interviews, because they don't have to prove to anyone who their father was. He was and still is the best father, uncle, brother, grandfather that they can ever ask for. My prayers are with his family and I pray that her family have peace.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Libra

Look after yourself today, dear Libra, because you don't have as much energy and self-confidence as usual. In fact, your spirits may be trailing around your ankles, making you feel wretched and listless. A pessimistic mood certainly won't help you cheer up, and you may be feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities or other people's problems. The fact is that you've got things out of proportion, but you'll feel better about them soon.
