As you can see with a name like latin lover I don't necessarily mingle with the Klan. I would rather party with the Cajuns and I'll tell you I still have "Georgia on my Mind" every once in a while. What can I say, I've got good memories from that place.
Being a Veteran I still feel like my skin is green like the color of our BDUs or Fatigues (depending on your era). I'm not a xenophobe but I do have issues with any religion that threatens our way of life and our lives.
Since you stated your retired then you must remember that we raised our right hands and swore to protect our country against any foreign or domestic threats. I don't remember the exact wording but I remember the meaning. Have you forgotten your oath?
Where's the threat in this country? You a veteran - you got a name?

Of course I'm a veteran and an Army brat before that and I haven't forgotten what my father, drill sergeants, and other superiors have taught me. I have taken their lessons to heart.

And yes, like everyone else I have a name and no you can't have it. If Uncle Sam wants do know who I am it shouldn't be too hard for them. My body may be broken but my spirit isn't.

That's behind us, where's the threat now? The biggest threat now is the pointless wars we've been involved in since 9/11. I/ve been over twice, where did you serve?

placing blame on the base for one persons deeds is like blaming a state or city for some dumbasz stunt by 1 resident, just stupid.

There's always a threat. What's this bs I've been hearing about Al Qaeda coming to New York soon. WTF. What do you call that.

I got sidelined before I could go to any war. But before you go and start puffing out your chest, I'll have you know that I've had violent confrontations with a war veteran. It is one thing being shot at from a few meters it is entirely a different animal when it is one on one and you have fists flying at you and you fear for your life. Violence begets violence and I am violent. Such is the case that when I first met my drills sergeants who were Rangers I was threatened with being sent to Ft. Leavenworth for standing my ground. The best compliment I got from them is when one of them told me that he knew I would make it and the drill sergeant who I had the confrontation with told a buddy that they were all scared when we got there but I wanted to kick his ass. I've got my own demons to contend with and when shit hits the fan I will react.

You soundlike the piss-ants I make fun of (not violant). Your pointless rhetoric
amounts to nothing. The fact that you're still conscience says that you didn't "confront" a recent veteran. Shut up and go away!

And you Mr. Ford are a frustrated, pathetic moron who only inspires pity. Maybe you should try going to the VA mental health clinic because you obviously have issues.

I don't know what your problem is with me or the Army but my father was a soldier, I was brought into this world by a military doctor. I have been fed, clothed, educated, had/have health care and have a roof over my head thanks to the Army. The Army has always been a part of my life and I am loyal to it. Unfortunately we don't know where your loyalty is.

What in hell did YOU do? If you didn't serve in those pointless wars in Afghanistan or Iraq, than shut up. Your daddy doesn't validate your pissantness! Now do what the hell you're told!

You sound like your girlfriend Ayreshitzer!

Obviously I served in between wars. Had I not been medically boarded I would've eventually ended up over there because my intent was to be a career soldier and everyone who serves knows that the fastest way to get promoted is to get some war medals. I did once ditch my crutches and boarded a plane with my unit who was being deployed and avoided being medically discharged that time. And out of curiousity and pride, I would've loved to see what our toys in my first unit could do.

If I didn't listen to everything my daddy said, what in hell makes you think I'll listen to you? I might not have been able to supercede him as he had planned but he was proud of me.

As for Ayreshire, he sounds pretty cool especially when he goes after your girlfriend Annie Muk.

But tell us HERO (which as you know is not a compliment amongst military)how did you contribute to the war? Here is your chance to show and tell. Did you get shot in the ass like Forrest Gump? Is that why you're so bitter?
