Wash. Base Back In Spotlight After Shootings

For the second time in five months, a U.S. soldier from a Washington military base is accused of committing atrocities against civilians in Afghanistan.

I'm sorry but JBLM doesn't breed outstanding or even good soldiers. This Military post is a huge joke. They obviously don't know how to treat their soldiers and this is the result. I can almost promise you guys that if JBLM deploys again after this that it will happen again.

What are the problems at this base? I know they had some problem soldiers at Ft. Bragg (mostly domestic abuse). A couple of the returning soliders murdering their wives.

This is what happens when a president like Obama takes us back into Afghanistan. These soldiers are burnt out after 3 and 4 tours in a row. I'd like to see Obama get his skinny faggot butt in Afghanistan for 3 and 4 tours in a row. If some of them could get a job it would help too but between Obama and Barney Frank, the building industry is completely dead and that is what soldiers used to depend on when they got back; a construction job.

Takes them back into Afganistan? When did they leave? Did Bush take them out before he left? How the hell did Obama take them back when they never left????

You want a construction job? Write your Republican Congressmen and women and tell them to get off of their obstinate arses and vote for his jobs bill! He wants to rebuild the crumbling infrastructure in this country but they've been obstructing him!

The taliban specifically attacks civilians. Only a few soldiers have, and that is after suffering brain trauma. Move to the middle east if you don't want to live here.

As you can see with a name like latin lover I don't necessarily mingle with the Klan. I would rather party with the Cajuns and I'll tell you I still have "Georgia on my Mind" every once in a while. What can I say, I've got good memories from that place.

Being a Veteran I still feel like my skin is green like the color of our BDUs or Fatigues (depending on your era). I'm not a xenophobe but I do have issues with any religion that threatens our way of life and our lives.

Since you stated your retired then you must remember that we raised our right hands and swore to protect our country against any foreign or domestic threats. I don't remember the exact wording but I remember the meaning. Have you forgotten your oath?
