Freilich said. "The crime here is that Congress has failed to pass comprehensive immigration reform."

No, the crime is being in the United States illegally.

the REAL crime is that the federal government is NOT enforcing the immigration laws.

Too bad, so sad.

The comment about the fact that the illegals are hired to do work but don't know where the work is and thus what ID will be checked is ridiculous. Obviously the illegal knows he has no business being here, much less working here, and that's all he/she needs to know. Get on home now!

Keep up the deportations and start prosecuting more employers -- without sealing the records of what transpired.

Didn't Senior Boosh a few weeks ago, sign into law that ALL employers on federal contracts, as well as all sub-contractors must use E-Verify?

Records are sealed? Interesting

And to call you an American is a disgrace to all of us...please find another country that better suits your (illegal) needs. This one has laws, and we expect them to be followed, as well as enforced.

The crime here is that there is an immigration law, and everyone should abide by it. That law should not be for some, and not for others, should not be exceptions. The crime here is that we have more than 30 million illegal, and they are like termites eating up the taxpayers. What they mean by coming here looking for a better life is to leave off of the taxpayers. They come already pregnant and once the anchor baby is born they get the ticket to start milking off the system. THIS IS THE CRIME, and this is the reason why we should not have any respect for those politicians who are defending those law breakers. As law-makers they should encourage everyone to abide by the law, not to encourage people to break it and then be rewarded. If they give amnesty to all those millions of illegal that is an open invitation to more millions to come. This is what happened after Reagan gave amnesty to 3 million, the word spread around and now we have more than 30 million.

I can appreciate a person "taking-up" for his family, but do you really have a problem with me calling criminals that are here illegally, "turds?"
