Now you are coming around! The short term goals feed the long term goals and we are succeeding so well even IRAN's people are coming around to take back their country and become another beacon of mid east freedom. Even Russia is on board with the US and UN in destroying the Taliban. Put that in your short sighted terroristic pipe and smoke it. Way to go George W Bush! The dominos are falling!

It's weird that all you people talk about is yourselves when this story is titled "Bullitt soldier is among 5 killed in Iraq attack." This story is here so that we can remember Tom and his family... not so you ignorant people can argue with one another. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Tom and he was a great person.
He would do anything for anyone, and he will be missed dearly.

He blew it....he thought he was fighting for his country when he was really fighting for the BLUNDERS of his country.

His unfortunate demise will not spoil anyones GOLF GAME in Washington DC.

Could you even script these Invasions any more exactly like the Vietnam cluster f%$k. Shifting not "ENDING" Combat Operations in major cities of Iraq, at the same time increasing troop strength in Afganistan. Just heard of the U.S Soldier kidnapped in Afganistan, kidnapped? kidnapped? what was he in the middle of? this is becoming despicable.

We already have it. We have hydrogen fuel cells and we can make clouds of hydrogen for just pennies. There is a mountain of methane at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico that can power the US for the next 30 years. There is more oil in North Dakota than in Texas. There may be more oil in the Gulf of Mexico than in Saudi Arabia. Oil use to be cheap and plentiful, now its just plentiful. The problem is our infrastructure is geared to oil and everytime we begin to change that, they reduce the price of oil and the alternative fuel companies go belly up.

BTW--the war is not about oil. If it was we could have had Saddam gladly selling us oil at $25 a barrel just to stay in power.

My response:
I am beyond proud to call myself the wife of an American Soldier; The wife of a man who fights for the rights of all people including people like you, so that you can rant on absurdities about men like him who are not only patriotic and heroic to an extent YOU CAN NOT IMAGINE!!!

I am not saying that the American soldier is a saint or should be picture as a saint, but they are far from the monsters that YOU are making them out to be.
