Who threatens us ?
The US, English and French atomic arsenals can lay waste to the planet 500 times over, and the Russians, Chinese, South Africans, Israelis, Indians and Pakistanis can finish off the rubble.
Who the fuck threatens us ?
Some dusty, desert mumbo-believing bunch of God botherers ?
We've grown out of the idiocy of invisible men and talking donkeys, and we're not likely to fall for winged horses and child brides.
Islam is no more of a threat to the West than a turtle is to a tiger.
Ignorance is the biggest threat to Western civilization, and you may be a part of it.
Time for you to re-read your "1984", this time, substitute "Osama Bin Gone" for "Emmanuel Goldstein", and "Al Patsi" for "The hordes of Eurasia", and as you happy-clap along to your Rupert Moloch Mass Muddier propaganda blare, contemplate this.

"Radical" islam is a threat to the west. The rest of islam does nothing about it, so I guess they're no better.

The other threat is amongst us...people like you. Your liberal loud mouth serves no purpose but to tear down the society you live in a appese your muslim brothers.

How did the USA and NATO ruin Afghanistan?...that's the dumbest thing I've read on topix in days!
We're trying to make the country better and people like you want Afghnanistan to stay the way it was before.
All of you people are against the troops, against the mission, etc etc...so tell me what your better idea is of making Afghanistan better and/or fighting radicals like the taliban.
The first thing to do, Rocketman, is to understand them.
Do you speak Pashtun ? Uzbek ? Tadjik ?
Do you know the history of the Kingdom of Insolence ?
Do you even know WHY we are there ?
The Taliban never threatened us, they never attacked us, they never caused the slightest problem with us or against us.
All they wanted was to be left in the 7th century, after enduring years of constant war as we waged the "Great Game" around them, over them, and ground their cries under the vast threshing machinations of our extra-territorial plans.

So why are we there ?

Because we don't like the way they treat women ?
Invade Saudi Arabia, then.

Because they destroyed those impressive old Buddha statues and oppressed other religions ?
Invade Burma then.

Because they sheltered a former American ally and his rag-tag bunch of CIA-trained mercenaries ?
Well, you've got a lot of nations to overthrow there, because corrupt dictators and big-oil propped up tyrants are a dime a dozen.

There is no justification for our presence in Afghanistan, apart, of course, from the real one, which is the "Energy taskforce", and their gas-sucking pipeline route out beyond the reach of the Russians from the Caspian Basin.

If we REALLY wanted to help the tragic Afghan people, we would have helped when they asked, as the last of the "Zinky Boys" were shipped back through the tunnel, and the warlords came down out of the hills, in that hush after the weapons fall silent, and before the primal stupidity, greed and lustful ignorance of humans gets in the way.

But, just as we did with the Soviet bloc as it collapsed in on itself, we turned our backs and went back to our consumption of the "Western Dream".

Don't give me your bullshit about "We're trying to help.." when you don't know the first blind thing about Afghanistan, nor the wily Pathan.

What "Threat" ??

What are they, a tiny handful amongst millions, motes in Gods eye, going to do ?
Invade us ?
Convert us all ?
Kill us all ?
Make us all recite the Koran ?

You mindless moron.

The REAL danger comes from sinister tools, ignorant fools and the gullible drones of a vast and sly machine that festers and rots in our belly, the belly of the same type of democracy that spawned nazism and the Death Camps.

You've already proved that you have no idea about Reality, and you're capable of swallowing like a GOP senator in an airport mens room lies, spin and half-truth from a sneering cabal who crave Death Camp guards, and your mindless ignorance is a breath-taking step back for Humanity.

We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

I fear ignorance, though. Yours.

Maybe if we hadn't been meddling in their affairs they wouldn't have come over here and started hitting us.

What do you think, terrorists just wake up one morning and say, " Oh, I think I'm gonna commit suicide now!"

ReallY?

Give me a f**king break.

America needs to get its big ugly face out of their faces and start practicing what they preach and EVENLY deal with terrorism, like terrorism sponsored by their own ALLIES.

We Americans have to wake up and vote for people who will bring REAL change- less foreign intervention, less meddling, more trade and prosperity, no binding military alliances- so we don't have these huge conflicts and wars.

What would YOU do if China invaded our nation, considering us a 'threat', subjecting us to military rule because of one of our people had blew himself/herself up in their country?

The taliban maybe would like to remain in the 7th century but I'm sure there's many Afghanis would do not.

As for all your other long dribble, you need to relax, take a breather, that's it just slow down Pierre....no need to get all fussed up on a rather dumb site like topix. You take it way too serious, waste your time somewhere else.

Long live Jesus and the Crusades!!!!!!!!!!
