Dr Khan was always hungry for publicity. While in service, he would pay journalists to promote him, even write books eulogizing him. He claimed to be "the father of Pakistani nuclear bomb." His contribution was limited to enrichment of uranium. He had no role in the actual design and development of the bomb.
Now he is trying to spite President Musharraf for making his network ineffective. He blames the President for sending equipment to North Korea but does not say a single word about his proliferation network and his investments of millions of dollars in Africa and elsewhere. He has more hunger for publicity than love for truth.
