What a surprise when YOU spend eternity in HELL!!!! I really can't believe I wrote that, but I served as an Army Chaplain in Iraq in 2003-2004. Regardless, but anyone who makes any snide remark about anyone losing their life (especially a soldier with a wife and child) just re-enforcing my belief in the Illegitimacy of the Muslim faith. YOU neecd to read the Koran!!!! I wish I knew who and where you are!!!!!!!

Chaplains are partially to blame for the 1/2 million deaths that have occured as a result of the illegal bombing, destruction and interference of Iraq.
Had it not been for the bible carrying, fairy tale believing class like yourself, there would be less justification and motivation for that bloodshed.

You should be so ashamed of having been a chaplain that you should never admit to having been one.
All of you should have been doing everything in your powers to obstruct that war, instead, you just played along and made it look ok.
I guess that paycheck & pension is more important, huh?

Dave, I doubt very seriouly that you have served in the military. If you have, you would understand the role and responsibilities of a chaplain. First, we insure the free exercise of religion (which is one of our constitutional rights) to ALL soldiers. I was a protestant chaplain, however, if a Catholic soldier, or Muslim soldier came to me and requested worship of his faith, it was my job to locate and bring in a chaplain of that faith to provide for that soldier. We have to be very open to all faiths. Now if you happen to be an atheist or agnostic, none of this means anything, unless you belief in the Constitution. If you don't belief in the free exercise of religion and don't think that soldiers deserve the same rights then all this is just useless talk, because we will never see any common ground. You clearly do not understand what chaplains do. Yes, there are always those few (just like any group) who make a bad name for us, but if you ask any soldier, 90% of them will tell you that having a chaplain on the battlefield is valuable. If you haven't served in the military then (eventhough you have the freedom - because of our constitution - to express you opinion) you don't have the knowledge or experience to even understand what you are talking about much less be able to speak on the issue as if you are an expert in the matter. How a chaplain is responsible for 1/2 million deaths is just plain ignorant speech. Do some research. Read the military chaplain codes of conduct and values. Your statement "Had it not been for the bible carrying, fairy tale believing class like yourself.." unfortunately shows your ignorance of world history, and military history. I would make sure I was totally informed on all matters before I made such a statement. I carried a Bible to the battlefield - nothing else - To you it may be a fairytale, but to me it is truth! That is the great thing about thing about the U.S. We can have our opposing views and still co-exist. I could go on and on......I respect your right to say what you said, but you are incorrect in the facts. AND for your information.....I served 11 years active duty....I have no pension......I have no retirement as most who serve 11 years in a civilian job would by vested at that point. I believe what I believe, you believe what you believe, but you began the attack. I would welcome the facts, proof and evidence that anything I have typed is incorrect. The military chaplain is for ALL soldiers....Muslim, Catholic, Hindu, etc... and athiest....they are all heroes to me! But don't try to judge my motives for doing what I did (i.e., money, pension, ect.) AND I will never be ashamed of what I did. Those who DO NOT serve their country and do nothing but sit back and criticize those who do.....they should be ashame. I don't judge anyone who does not serve, in return don't judge me. I have said enough. If you are an American, then it is the same contitution that gives you the right to freedom of speech that insures the free exercise of religion. So either you support the Contitution or you don't! If you don't then you are condemning the document that gave you the right to write what you did. If you are not an American, well then I don't care what you think!!!

Hey Mr. Unbelievable, the Constitution does not give the scumbag president the right to wage illegal wars without the consent of Congress. Since the Federal government broke the contract, why should any of us concern ourselves about it anymore? And don't you find it odd that the scum in DC send our soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan to murder the citizenry on one hand while they let the Muslims invade our country as immigrants on the other? Our government is insane. We need to get a new one. Until we do, anyone who serves this aberration should be considered a no good nik.

USA is full of tough guys. You so tough you let women, homosexuals and mud people elect an African to be your leader. You laughing stock of whole world. Then you make same mistakes Russians made before you and go to fight the Pashtun for absolutely no reason. Just like you followed the French into Vietnam. Only reason for this stupidity is that the Zhids buy off your politicians like they buy off ours. They make big money on war while idiots die for them. Nothing to do with freedom or nation. Just money for the Zhid.

Just as a rminder!!!! They had consent of congress. Even the Democrats. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!! So, yes! The war met all constitutional requirements. Can't just make stuff up to make your point. Was the intelligence flawed about WMD's? YES! But remember, the democrats, other nations, and many more considered it reliable. I know....the next step in your arsonal will be to accuse Bush of creating all the intel to justify war. Could be true. I don't even know the answer to that one. However, Congress did authorize the war. Don't speak out of ignorance. Know your facts before you take a stand. Wait!!! the truth isn't important as long as your agenda is articulated.

This has nothing to do with the free exercise of religion or your role in it while in the military and everything to do with mass death inflicted by one government on another based on lies of nonexistent WMD's(along with the takeover of our congress by Israeli's and their sychophants in the Christian community).
Although it isn't relevant to this conversation,I have served in the Marines (1983-87),but all that I did was pull wrenches on hueys,I never saw combat.
Being an atheist is what makes me somewhat offensive to believers, so that's why I come across like this,I'm not focusing on any particular religion though.
You seem strangely preoccupied with defending "your service",I never questioned your service in the military, just your capacity as a religious figure.
If you were truly a religious person who believed what is taught in the bible, you would have done everything in your power to obstruct that near genocide of Iraqi's and the upcoming war in Iran which is incredibly based on lies as well (surprise!,to the benefit of Israel).
You can pretend that you have a little more ethics while wearing a crucifix while in uniform, but you are worse than the criminlas that crafted these resolutions that justified attacking these nations since it was you and other religious figures that gave these wars tacit "blessings" by remaining reticent about the reasons for it,the results of it, or the motives for it.
You must have known that these kids will only conclude that these wrongful actions are justified when they see a man of the cloth assisting their efforts.
As a man of the cloth you should have been compelled to interfere with a war that destroyed a nation that never attacked the US,nor did it threaten to (until we initiated war against them).
I have read the death count to be anywhere from 250,000 Iraqi's (women, children, grandfathers,w ives, mothers, cab drivers, sisters), to over 1 million, even if we take the lowest number,it is truly sickening.

there were no commercial plane crashes on 9-11. The US military loves soldiers who base things on belief systems. It means they can then be mentally controlled through suggestions and peer pressure. If you can believe in invisible men in the sky who watch over you then certainly I can show you a few images and videos of planes on 9-11 and convince you to go to war for all eternity.

Topix disintegrating into sustained opportunity for the most marginal and insane perceptions to be expressed... A symptom of dope and perversion, or a result of childish cynicism running a business? Fewer and fewer people bother to come to Topix... The result is crazies actually thinking they represent more than minor, ridiculous confusions in the gutters of America.
