You are correct, but this is probably not the place to say it. What is odd is that the lad was only nineteen and so had no real connection to Sun City. Presumably his parents just recently moved here and thus he is not really a resident, although he is associated with his parents' address. I just note this because one occasionally runs across people who claim to have grown up in Sun City, but nobody grows up in Sun City because there are no children under nineteen.

Robert was my neighbor and we live in Sun City. Sun City is NOT just a retirement community now. Strange comment(s) that you left. Who cares about Sun City? A young man died for no reason.:( His father would walk around the neighborhood holding a picture of his son crying. Absolutely awful.

Those who live here care about Sun City. You can't live here unless you are nineteen, which suggests that if he had been in the army for a while he did not live here.

SO WHAT! Why does it matter so much where he lived? To you? He died serving his country, all cities. Cased closed.

Sure enough. Dead is dead. It is to be noted, however, that the country is full of crying people who had sons or daughters killed, maimed, or driven mad by the Bushes and their wars for no rational reason and without anything to show for them. It is a sad and sorry state of affairs.

Now wait just a minute. Don't go blaming this on the Bushes. Obama said he would get ALL troops out of Iraq if elected president. One of many promises he did not keep. Instead he sent MORE troops to Iraq. And what are we doing in Libya?? So don't sit there and blame this on the Bushes.

Spoken like a true Republican fanatic. You believe your boys are entirely blameless and all scorn should be heaped on the most recent winner of the last election, that naughty black Democrat. Snore. Rave on. I have breakfast to make for my grandson.

But please do tell, why has your BOY not removed all the troops from Iraq as promised?? And where in the hell is that "change we can believe in"? The economy? Sucks. Housing prices? Suck. Job creation? Sucks. General mood of the country? Sucks. How many senior citizens are living on much less today than they were just a few years ago? How many have had to go back to work? And your BOY wants to mess with medicare?? And now I live with the threat of my social security being cut or eliminated because of the lack of progress in deficit reduction? What in the hell are you smoking?

Your use of the term "BOY" suggests that you are a racist bigot. How are things with the Klan these days?

Isn't it interesting that people in this day and age still think it is cute to refer to a black man a "BOY?" If you will check with the Southern Poverty Law Center you can track the Neo Nazis and the Ku Klux and so on in your area.....

Actually some people consider the term BOY as being a grown up that acts like a young lad. In this case I read it as your boy means you are supportive of him. Possibly the term should have been "your guy".

Your usage of "boy" in this context is an old racist insult. You should apologize.

And some people consider the term “ YOUR BOY” as just that, as in, send “YOUR BOY” over to some God forsaken” foreign land to have his body parts scattered in dirt not even fit for fleas and ticks to breed in. Yes, send “YOUR BOY” to die in some useless fucking war, on the Government pretext that you should be proud that “YOUR BOY” died crying for his mamma, while at the same time trying to stuff his guts mixed with blood and dirt, back into his body, all on the pretext that he suffered so tremendously for our freedom. Who in their right mind would willingly suffer this fate for the supposed freedom of a country that is on it’s knees gasping it’s last breath? Nobody would, so they have to be talked into it by the schemes and lies of their Government and their “PARENTS” yes mom and dad and grandpa, you would do that to “YOUR BOY” But you will never do it to “MY BOY”.

On the brighter side,“YOUR BOY” has at least three wars, with more on the way, in which to choose to die in, for my freedom!! So before he dies in one of these useless fucking wars, please tell him Simms says, thanks for the sacrifice!! J.W. Simms.
