This tells me that the powers that be are spreading our military men out too thin by sending a sick man back to the place that harmed him in the first place. AWOL soldiers usually get detainment, sick soldiers usually get treatment, this man got nothing but a good dose of “who cares” and a ticket back to an American made hell hole in his quest to kill as many innocent civilians that the drones don‘t get.

Hopefully when this war of greed is over, and our boys and girls come home, they aren’t treated by the powers that be like the victims of Katrina was. Ignored and ultimately forgotten about.

Has the powers that be forgotten that United we stand, divided we fall?

His fault for joining. Why would anyone want to join the military gay or strait, especially now.?This is no WWII when practically everyone helped in the war effort. Anyway, the military may promise you the moon if you join, but you’re far better off flipping burgers and washing dishes then dead....If you must join wait a year since that’s when our troops leave Afghanistan..

Specialist Hanks is a coward and a traitor. A deserter.

If you joined the army in the last 15 years YOU KNEW you were going to war.

If you're not man enough to do the job, don't join.

If you disagree with the policies of the past and current leadership of our country, DON'T JOIN.

IF you get there and find that you are a weak-kneed, sissy, mama's boy, then refuse to perform, take the Article 15 and get your Other-Than-Honorable discharge, because THAT is what you deserve for wasting the valuable training time and the approximately $250,000 per year that the military spends on EACH SOLDIER.

I served as did 5 generations before me. No, we were not lifers, but each man and many of the women have done our VOLUNTARY duty.

I have two sons...one just back from Afghanistan and one still in Iraq.

Specialist Hanks, you make me sick.

Your family should be ashamed that they raised you to be such a non-man.

Just like Vietnam or Korea, we shouldn't be there. He should go to Canada and request asylum like the smart ones did during Nam. Jerry Ford pardoned them all anyway and many came back with no problems. Just think, we could have free heath care if we cut the military down to what Canada pays for theirs.

Many join the military now not because their being patriotic but because the military promises you the moon if you join. One reason being a free education when you leave the military. Which isn’t always the case. This is NO WORLD WAR II

WE in the UK recognised shell shock and battle fatigue towards the end of WW1. Sadly we were so slow to react that tens of thousands died needlessly from people being sent back to combat in a state where they would be worse than useless.

Apparently you're a whole century behind us.

IN MEMORY OF PEARL HARBOR AND THE 9/11 TRAGEDY. A FEW QUOTES FROM A FEW YEARS AGO.

My husband John R served his country well as a Marine Lieutenant on Iwo Jima, was wounded and received a Silver star for his actions. Three of our sons volunteered to serve their country with pride and honor in Viet Nam. Whelan’s were no “Chicken Hawks” as are bush, cheney, rumsfeld ((who was in the service but saw no combat. He was later given the old heave ho, Thank God)) I cannot believe their boldness and audacity to want to send our youth when they were not willing to go yesterday.”
((Helen Whelan, Wife and mother of 3 veterans))

“When you sit quietly under the moonlight sky, look up and find the North Star. I will be looking at it also, and imagine me next to you, even though we are far apart, you can always find me in the star.”
(Sgt Jaror Puello-Coronado, in his last letter to his wife before dying in Iraq.)

“Be studious, stay in school and stay away from the military. I mean it.”
(Marine Sgt. Russell Slay, in a letter to his 5 year old son, shortly before he was killed in Iraq.

“Admiral Kelly Captain Card, officers and sailors of the USS Abraham Lincoln, my fellow Americans, Major combat operations in Iraq have ended, in the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed” Another grandiose lie from the apathetic, arrogant,, vindictive, egotistical hypocrite and lying coward known the george bush..

“bush lands on the aircraft carrier strutting his stuff and I have a hard time walking. How dare you!! That’s how I look at the president, HOW DARE YOU!! It amazes me how he does it with a smile too”
(Fields Black, 33 A Persian Gulf Veteran

A soldiers view of the Iraq War March 5, 2004

“I am a Calvary scout in the United States Army. I am stationed at Fort Bliss Texas. We returned home Tuesday and I would like to comment on his war from a specialized soldier’s eyes. I honestly think that the president lied to all of us. After seeing first hand what was in most parts of Iraq, my whole company could not fathom a threat of any means. I love America, and will defend her when called upon, but in this case there was not a real threat. By the way, the THANKSGIVING PHOTO-OP at the AIRPORT was only open to pro-bush soldiers. We were screened unknowingly about four days before he showed up in secret. We didn’t know he was coming, but looking back, all of the questions we were asked were designed to weed out the antiwar soldiers.”

If you recall at george bush’s two inaugurals there were an awful lot of demonstrations. And if you recall his first inaugural was a dark, rainy, dreary, dismal, dreadful, and very depressing day in Washington DC. It felt as if a huge black cloud hovered over the entire nation as if we were being cursed expecting for a bad omen to happen. And it did, starting with the 9/11 tragedy….By the way, the only one they were able to get to perform at his 2nd inaugural was Ricky Martin.(another you know what….Tee hee he)

p.s george(born again Christian?)bush has no twin brother so that was definitely george(born again Christian?) bush reading to the school children (Fahrenheit 9/11 winner best picture at the cannes film festival) very nonchalant and blaze’ without a care in the world knowing that New York was being attacked only to run away in the plane and show up a few days later at ground zero speaking trough the blow horn.. You were also able to tell that the apathetic egotist never gave a damn for those who perished on 9/ll when he gave his cheap photo op performance at ground zero speaking through the blow horn. And later on you were able to tell that the arrogant, vindictive. Egotistical hypocrite and lying COWARD never gave a damn for the Iraqi’s and our troops since DAY ONE.. Talk about apathy. You were able to tell that all of his photo op performances were all for show and nothing more.

A little glimpse from the past..

When you’re not talking politics, what do you and your father talk about?

George bush:“Pu$$y”(psst trying to prove to the world that he’s really heterosexual and not gay or bisexual)

To David Fink of the Hartford Courant at the 1988 republican convention. Geoge bush gave us that stupid and tactless quote around the time when he told the world that he was a born again Christian? I’ve seen people change when they said they were born again Christians. If george bush was truly sincere the Iraqi war and torture would never have happened, plus his filthy and stupid and tactless quotes(which were many) would never have been part of his rhetoric. George bush always reminded me of those who said they were born again Christians when leaving prison only to do the same crime over again and back to prison they went.

http://bushssecretlifein84.tripod.com/

Remember Jeff Gannon the male hustler who frequented the white house quite often? Judging from george bush’s past I’m sure jeff and George had a sexual rendezvous. Anyway, jeff had a mighty big dick according to the pornographic photos he had scattered all over the internet., so I’m sure george was enjoying his rendezvous with jeff as soldiers were dying needlessly in Iraq.

Another glimpse from the past.

Shaken father writes to president bush. Published in the Home
News Tribune 2/05/04

Dear President bush;

With heavy heart, tears in my eyes and a home full of sorrow, I pick up my pent to write you about a brave soldier, 2nd Lt. Seth J Dvorin, US Army. My son was killed in Iraq on Feb 3, 2004 fighting in a war. Seth was a good boy, well-mannered, smart, kind and understanding. He joined the Army in an effort to serve his country. And serve his country he did Seth made the ultimate sacrifice. Burying a child will no doubt be the hardest task that his mother and I shall ever have to do. The one question I would like you to answer is “Why did my son and every other soldier that was killed, maimed and wounded have to suffer settling your vendetta?”

My son is gone just when he was laying a strong foundation to build upon for the rest of his life. Now, president bush his life has been snuffed out in a meaningless war. Where are all the weapons of mass destruction, where are the stock piles of chemical and biological weapons? Please mr president, pray for all our fallen heroes and as a tribute to these heroes get our boys and girls out of Iraq now before to much more blood is shed. Since you waged this unnecessary war on saddem Hussein the world has become a horrible place to live in. I know my boy is safe now, in a new world free of hate and prejudices where God is his president, but you tell me president bush why he had to go so soon and in such a violet way.

Respectfully yours,

Richard M. Dvorin

Then comes time to pay the piper.

I don't care who promised me what. I'd look to see what they wanted from me.

The guy, himself, said that he's only currently in for the Medical.

A few quotes from a few years ago.

The invasion of Iraq was a bandit act, and act of blatant state terrorism, demonstrating absolute contempt for the concept of international law. How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal? 100,000?
....Harold Pinter, accepting the Nobel Prize for literature..2005

It is worse than in Saddam’s time. I preferred life then. We had a normal life and we had security. My family have never been Saddam loyalists or supporters. When he was here we did not know we did not have freedom. This is what we were told by other countries. What we did know was we had safety and security. Now there are only dangers and uncertainty.– Thuraya el-Kaissi, 17 year old Iraqi girl..

When the Americans first came, Mohammad and my other children watched them with joy in our eyes. Now we hate them— An Iraqi mother whose 12 year old boy was shot by US soldiers...

“Katrina to me was the tipping point” said Matthew Dowd Bush’s pollster.“The president broke his bond with the public. Once that bond was broken he no longer had the capacity to talk to the American public. State of the union addresses? It didn’t matter. Legislative initiatives? It didn’t matter. PR? It didn’t matter Travel? It didn’t matter.
Dam Bartlett, counselor to the president said “Politically, it was the final nail in the coffin”

“US soldiers went to their deaths In Iraq thinking that they were avenging 9/11 when Iraq had nothing to do with it”–Richard Clark

I will continue to dedicate this poem to the over five hundred thousand Iraqis who were killed and to the thousands of our troops who were killed in Iraq. In a war that was solely based on EGOTISM, SADISM, VINDICTIVENESS, APATHY, LIES, AMBITION ,GREED, you name it. Everything but EMPATHY, COMPASSION AND CONCERN for the TROOPS and the IRAQI’S which was quite evident since DAY ONE. I’m also dedicating this poem to the THOUSANDS of our TROOPS who died in AFGHANISTAN.

Death be not proud, though some have called thee
mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so
For those whom thou thinkest thou dost overthrow,
die not poor death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but they picture be,
much pleasure then from thee, much more must flow,
and soonest our best men with thee do go,
rest of their bones and souls delivery.
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings and desperate men,
and dost with poison, war and sickness dwell,
and poppy or charms can make us sleep as well,
and better then they stroke, why swellest thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally,
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die. John Donne..

A quote from a few years ago.

Be studious, stay in school and stay away from the military. I mean it.”

I'm not sure I'd call it a war of "greed". But I do agree with you that we have no business over there. We have PLENTY of our own problems here including threats to our sovereignty. They are not "boys and girls". In many cases those men and women have more brains than many of the so called "men and women" here.

It never ceases to amaze me that we IMPORT smart people to work for us and yet take OUR intelligent people and ship them overseas to be used as pawns in power struggles rather than work here. It's disgusting. Frankly, as little as the law in this country is regarded anymore, I don't see any point in defending the principles of this nation. WE don't have any anymore. Besides, as I said. They're not there "defending freedom". They're there for some politician's power trip.
