What is white-on-white, gray-on-gray, and yellow all over? To find the answer let us go back to Tuesday, the 10th of April 2012. The Philippine Navy’s newly acquired frigate, BRP Gregorio del Pilar was headed that day towards the Northern section of the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea) to monitor North Korea’s planned missile launch. While passing by Panatag Shoal (Scarborough Shoal) which is 124 nautical miles from Zambales, the del Pilar was ordered to stop and investigate the presence of eight Chinese fishing vessels inside the lagoon ...

I remember why the Philippine ships pulled out because there was a storm but the Chinese ships stayed but the Philippines and China agreed to pull all of their ships but China lied so this is a lesson for the Philippines that the Chinese are deceptive and liars. I wonder how many Chinese fishermen died when the storm passed by the shoal.
What kind of boat Philippines Navy has, can't even stand a storm. Even Chinese fishing boat can withstand the storm.

The Philippine Air Force should just strafe and shoot with missiles all those Chinese ships!

Aquino should get tough on them!

Don't think those F5 can even get off the runway. Even if they can, they will be shot down before even seeing the Chinese ship.

When the Philippines get their new weapons they should bomb the Panatag Shoal until it disappears from existence so China wont claim anything anymore.

China is so pathetic they reclaim a rock until it becomes a fake island so that is their way of claiming the ocean.

china is enjoying bullying you and doesnt want you or theyd have you by now. whatever you have that they want , they will take when they are ready. you are chinas reserves and you dont cost them a single peso to keep in check.

you dont have anything to fight with and you dont have any allies that will fight with you. youve proven your weaknesses and worthlessness and now you know that you cant cry for help every time you want it. you close your country to everyone , but those who will spend money. you are whores and just like a whore when you get into trouble you will cry and blame others for the problems you caused.

Why are there many US ships and submarines docked in Subic today. I have heard they will conduct war games with the Philippines in the disputed oceans.

2 US warships to arrive in Subic
By Jaime Laude (The Philippine Star)| Updated June 7, 2013 - 12:00am

The arrival of two US warships coincided with today’s visit to the country of US Pacific Command chief Adm. Samuel Locklear for a meeting with Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin on various issues, specifically regional security.

“Joint exercise, training, education and also assistance in our ongoing capability upgrade program in the light of the upcoming rainy season are likely to be taken up,” defense spokesman Peter Paul Galvez said.

He added that Locklear and senior defense and military officials may also discuss the territorial disputes in the West Philippine Sea and South China Sea.

Headlines ( Article MRec ), pagematch: 1, sectionmatch: 1

Locklear, without mentioning China, had declared in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that the US would oppose the use of force by any country in pressing its claim on the Spratlys. China has been aggressively expanding its presence in disputed waters for months. It had even deployed warships near Ayungin Shoal, which is well within the Philippines’ exclusive economic zone.

Philippine presence in Ayungin is represented by a handful of soldiers on grounded landing tank ship BRP Sierra Madre.

Meanwhile, outgoing British Ambassador Stephen Lillie said his country’s military partnership with the Philippines is “gradually developing.”

Well, it just show again how little Philippines treasures those islands/shoals/reefs that it claims. If it is really yours, you won't be thinking of bombing it, isn't it?

dont you find it so intriguing? that a Goliath nation called china will still be so interested with a small portion of rocks in the middle of the sea!! with china's enormous size, why chinks still cant get enough with it? I'm sure there's a lot more minerals or fossil fuel in their vast land than in the sea.

im not so sure.borrow from china to fight with china? theres more at stake than the flips islands here and as much as the fils is an ally it is only on paper. they share nothing to the US or anybody else.

yes ok im sure if china invades then the US and Japan and others will rush to their aid , but its just not going to happen.

keeping commerce flowing is the main concern for now until all the worlds oil dries up and then youll see the US parked here full time 24/7/365. i think the US would try to bomb china back into the ice ages if it came down to who gets that oil.

flips dont welcome them here. you never read about any of the good they are doing. its all taken for granted. its undeserved really, but its given anyway. they have to be restricted to keep them from being murdered. the supplies they get are supplies already brought here by other US Navy ships. certainly they arent getting any foods here. what do they get here? fuel if it passes inspection only. same as the water. they are here as a presence. guarding their interests. not yours.
they have lots of flip sailors on board to make a good show of it, so you cry babies wont protest.

seems so sad to call it war games when it is obviously all one sided.
