Every year, over 38,000 Military members and their families, retirees, DOD employees and NATO ID card holders visit Camp Darby. Some enjoy bringing their RV to the camp grounds, others perfer the new log cabins while the rest stay in one of two hotels on base. Considered to be Europe's Southern Destination of Choice for the military community, we want to know what you liked best about your stay here? Was it a Tuscan dream vacation or did you leave wondering what "bella vita" really was!

Darby would be great if they would support the tourist there. Everything closes to early and when they are open way more expensive. The Italians are really rude on and off post. If you go take plenty of supplies since hours of operation of commissary and shoppette are minimum. Before booking a room on base check off post I paid for 2 weeks at a hotel what I would have been for 4 nights on post and I was across from the base and got breakfast...
