Wants Military Justice System to Move More Slowly, Says Accused Fort Hood Shooter is in Severe Pain.

Major Nidal Hasan, charged with killing 13 in the Fort Hood shooting spree, is paralyzed from the chest down and is not a flight risk, said his defense attorney after a hearing before a military magistrate in Hasan's hospital room Saturday. The accused Fort Hood shooter had his first court hearing in the intensive care unit of a San Antonio hospital at 1 p.m. His status has now been changed from pre-trial restriction to pre-trial confinement, meaning that he will be confined until his court martial.

The military magistrate ruled that Hasan will stay at Brooke Army Medical Center for now, but the military has the option of moving him to another medical facility or to jail. According to defense attorney John Galligan, Hasan is paralyzed from the chest down, is incontinent and "in severe pain."

Flight risk? Ever hear of those magic carpets? He is hoping for that and in his quest for a bride, 72 virgins.
I hope the military without interference from the WH ends this bastard's life.

Why are we suppose to feel sorry for this man that killed 13 people and injured numerous more? Just because he is paralyzed and incontinent this is suppose to lessen what he did?

I hope that the military justice system proceeds with a speedy trial, convicts the man and he gets the death penalty. I am thinking that a firing squad would be just punishment for him. I don't really care if he has to suspended in air to get the job done. Let him experience what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a gun.

I doubt he is in pain, not with the meds we have available at hospitals, the real pain is the heart ache of all the people whose lifes this terroist ruined and destroyed.

the lives of people shot up by the muslim doctor did not have more value than the lives of iraqis. they got what they deserved for murdering iraqi children in a war created by jews like paul wolowicz and benfitting jews in israel.
to bad the jew paul wolfowicz or his family wasn't at that army post.
To bad you and your family and friends weren't there. But wait! You were there, in spirit, giving aid, comfort and encouragement to the enemy. Hope you have the balls to stand at his side before the firing squad

they aren't my enemies moron. muslims are far more truthworthy than jews, partial jews or blacks are. how can any self respecting white man serve in the military next to blacks having sex with white women? white men in the military are freaks and cowards.
don't show them any honor. laugh at their families when they are killed. they should be at home dealing with race-mixers and lowlife jewish oppressors not killing iraqis who were a threat to no one except jews in israel.

It saddens me to read that every comment here reflects a belief that vengeance is a solution. Hasan lost it. In his anger and confusion and perhaps religious sense of righteousness, he killed many people and injured many more. I certainly won't try to defend his actions. But his suffering does not bring back any of the dead or comfort any of the survivors.

When U.S. troops overseas kick in doors and spray families with bullets, or drop ordnance on villages, believing that they must do this, that it is their duty to do so, most of us do not view the troops as murderers who deserve to suffer. They are obeying orders. They are trying to kill enemies of the U.S. If they kill as many innocent civilians, well, so be it. We understand. They are forgiven.

Why are Hassan's misguided actions so very different?

it's are own fault when msulims take out fellow americans. if we put jews like paul wolfowizc who caused the iraq war on trial and sent them to the gas chambers where they belong we could have some credibility.

until we demand these jews like wolfowicz be executed we have no one to blame but ourselves when muslims beat us up.

dguy, is a moron. The Muslims are at war with America. We have been at War with the Muslims since our Marines had to go kick Muslim butt on the shores of Tripoli. In the late 1700 the Muslims declared war on America in 1801 America started to defend it self from Islamic hate.

The war never ended.

Muslims want to turn America into an Islamic Caliphate..

Muslims are the enemy
