BOTH men (to use the term loosely) should be stripped of their rank and removed from the military. In Wilkerson's case, he should serve out his term before being dishonorably discharged, of course.

This is why you can't take the military seriously when it comes to combatting rape and assault. The old boys need to be cleaned out and a new code of military justice created which would bring them into the 21st century. The old one gives military "judges" FAR too much latitude when it comes to overturning verdicts.

How the hell can our military serve in Afghanistan and pretend to be "liberating women" from the Taliban, when they themselves are abusing women on a DAILY basis??
